Craigslist’s Official New “Blog” Isn’t Really a Blog
April 3rd, 2008 | by Tim |
Its been a crazy day here at the unofficial craigslist blog, but we took a few moments to look at the new official craigslist blog and found out something really interesting: it’s not a blog!
There are a few short articles, but where are the categories, recent comments, blogroll, and RSS feed? I guess if you’re going to sue someone for creating a blog with your name in it, the attorneys recommend having something that at least resembles one. Blogger or Word Press might be a good place to start…

Lol, their attempt at a blog is embarrassing.

Why would they launch a new blog if it’s not ready? I’m confused ??

They obviously felt pressure to get their blog online due to this blog. Very uncraigslist-like!

It’s a boring layout like their main site. More a bulletin board than anything.
I think I’ll just go back to reading this Blog for relevant C.L. information.
But you can’t beat C.L. for great deals.

Come on Craig and Jim, let the world of ‘free-speech’ continue on. Put your gags away.
In the words of Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along?” LOL

What I like about this blog site is that it’s balanced. They discuss both the good and bad about Craigslist.
I seriously doubt you’ll ever see Craigslist management and/or staff discussing murders, prostitution, scams, etc… on their own, so-called blog site. It’s going to be 100% one-sided, always in their favor.
This is America people - a free country - freedom of speech.

Looks like Craiglist just created a “blog” so that they could come down on you. Poor you. Just letting you know, people support you, and they cannot force you to give your address up. Keep up the good work.
Just discovered this blog, but now that I know about it (from a story detailing the abhorrent activities of Craiglist on Cnet), I will visit often. See ya!
