Touche eBay, Craigslist Fights Back

As summer approaches, it looks like a fierce, epic battle is brewing between two titans - eBay and Craigslist.
We first reported the original lawsuit by eBay last month. eBay says it sued Craigslist for allegedly taking secret steps to reduce eBay’s shares - and therefore its rights - in the company.
Craigslist has responded by calling eBay a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” in a lawsuit that was filed Tuesday. It accuses eBay of abusing its minority stake.
The complaint states that Craigslist founder Craig Newmark and Chief Executive Officer Jim Buckmaster “were taken aback by eBay’s behavior and feared that they had a wolf in sheep’s clothing in their midst.” Read more…
