Prostitution Bust in Mansfield, Mass.

Detectives from the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force (NORPAC ) made an arrest of two women on prostitution-related charges Tuesday at a local Holiday Inn.

NORPAC had been conducting a sting operation after seeing ads on Craigslist. An undercover police detective, who posed as a potential customer, contacted one of the women. They arranged to meet, and physically exchanged money for services.

The two arrested were: Nicole Barbosa, 26, of 284 Sayes Ave, Pawtucket, R.I., and Tarah Vaughn, 46, of 15 Irwin St., Winthrop.  Read more…
