How Should Craigslist Stop Prostitution?
June 25th, 2008 | by James |
It seems like a daily rite of passage. Another police sting and prostitution bust in cities all across the U.S. Is the problem getting out of control, or do you think the media is focusing more attention on this illegal activity?
Craigslist claims its making efforts to eliminate ads for prostitutes. The company has and will continue to suffer if the prostitution ad problem cannot be curtailed.
Recently the site has received much negative publicity due to a series of crimes that involved Craigslist users.
So what should Craigslist do next, if anything at all? What are your thoughts????

I do not want the police to do anything against the hotels which host prostitution like Hampton hotel,(elmsford) Extended stay(elmford ny), La Quinta (elmford ny) etc,etc.. Please do something ..craigslist is the only way to get there.

Would you rather the hookers be on the street selling themselves or in the privacy of a home or hotel? HELLO! At least it is safer for them to advertise on CL. This is the OLDEST OCCUPATION they will do it with or without CL. It is a case of supply and demand that is the problem not a Craigslist problem There will always be a demand for sex and there will always be sex workers. DECRIMINALIZE it and save a lot of problems.
